The MacDowell Colony

The Colony nurtures the arts by offering creative individuals of the highest talent an inspiring environment in which they can produce enduring works of the imagination. The maximum length of residence is two months; an average stay is four weeks. There are between 20 and 30 artists at MacDowell at any given time.
