The moving image has great value in its capacity to investigate and inform, in its beauty and its ability to entertain. It explores ideas, and presents them in ways that other media and languages cannot.
Our program recognizes the powerful positions that video—the current form of the moving image, has taken in our society and culture. We study the content, intentions and structures of its practice. We question that practice as we value moving image's past, for what it has described and for how it has developed.
We consider and question and produce.
