Video has been an important part of the our MFA program since 1990. It has developed to become the major area of concentration for many of our students, and is an important artistic resource for many others. We have a diverse faculty, distinguished in their own artistic and professional practices. Most of our alumni continue their own practice, creating significant bodies of work.
Each year we offer at least fifteen classes in the culture, history, theory and practice of video and the moving image. We are dedicated to the education of a new, independent and sophisticated generation of moving image makers.
